Jaci's Safari Lodge
MAdikwe Reserve, South Africa
Situated in the Malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West province, these exceptional, privately owned lodges will exceed all your safari expectations.

About Jaci's Safari Lodge
Madikwe Game Reserve boasts 300,000 acres of Big 5 territory in which you can also expect to see wild dog, both black and white rhino, extensive plains game, including sable, gemsbok, springbok and giraffe, and over 340 species of birds.
Jaci's Safari Lodge itself overlooks an established and well used water hole, under a grove of Tamboetie trees on the edge of the Marico River.
Between the early morning and evening game drives and walks, you can cool off in the swimming pool that overlooks the river.
Meals come from an ultra modern kitchen, which is in full view of the dining area. Dinners are eaten outside around the open fire in the boma under the stars, or out in the bush on a "braai", surrounded by nature.
Jaci's Safari Lodge is comprised of eight thatched rooms, each with en suite bathroom and outside shower. Seven of the rooms have twin beds and the eighth room has a king size four poster bed. Each room has a handmade ceramic fireplace surrounded by a stone chimney. The deck in front of the room allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding sights and smells of the bushveld - whilst watching the animals walking past to drink.
Jaci's Tree Lodge
The Tree Lodge comprises eight spacious "Tree Houses", each encompassing a giant Tamboetie or Leadwood Tree and constructed amongst the Riverine forest on stilts. The "Tree Houses" are built using a combination of rosewood, thatch and stacking doors - so as to invite the the surrounding forest into the living space.
Eco Initiatives:
- Staff members of five years and longer shareholders of the lodge through a specific staff trust, which holds 25% of the shares
- Supplier of learning material and computer equipment to local schools
