Idube Private Game Reserve
Kruger National Park, South Africa
Idube Private Game Reserve is a family owned lodge situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa’s Greater Kruger Park.

About Idube Private Game Reserve
The exclusive lodge has ten en suite chalets, each individually decorated and with air conditioning, overhead fans and high ceilings.
Private wooden decks have been added to each suite and have quickly become the favourite place for guests both to enjoy the tranquillity of the lodge and to view visiting animals.
Meals are relaxed and informal with three full meals a day included in the rate. These are served either on the dining deck, in the lodge or the bush boma. The covered deck meaning there’s no need to stop game viewing for meals.
The colourful, open lounge deck combines comfort with a great view of the riverbed and animals coming down to drink at Shadulu Dam or to graze on the lawns.
The boulder pool is a great place to be in the middle of a warm day. Stretch out in the sun or under a shady canopy of trees, watch the birds as they swoop and dip round the water or just lie back, close your eyes and enjoy the sounds of the bush.
Safari Activities
Game viewing is outstanding from open Landrovers, with experienced rangers and trackers, and the Big Five seen as close to the vehicles as possible. There are also interesting bush walks lead by your ranger every morning after breakfast.
Eco Initiatives:
- Income sharing scheme for employees
- Recycling of water for use in the gardens
